J-Tip

The J-Tip is a needle-free device that uses compressed gas to inject buffered lidocaine into subcutaneous tissue, providing rapid (1-2 min) and lasting (15-20 min) anesthetic effects to make IV starts and blood draws virtually pain-free. Used widely in pediatrics, it reduces pain for routine procedures, primarily for children and patients with needle phobia
